LOS ANGELES: Netflix officially announced that the second season of its hit live-action adaptation One Piece will premiere globally on March 10, 2026, under the title “One Piece: Into the Grand Line.”

The streaming giant confirmed the date alongside a new promotional visual teasing Drum Island, the snow-covered location that marks the next major stop in the Straw Hat Pirates’ journey. The island will introduce Tony Tony Chopper, the beloved reindeer doctor whose origin story remains one of the most emotional arcs in Eiichiro Oda’s long-running manga.

Co-showrunner Joe Tracz said the team’s guiding principle for the new season was to “scale it all up,” hinting at a larger scope that includes “giants, dinosaurs, and a dive into the belly of a whale.”

The eight-episode season will pick up directly after the events of Season 1, following Iñaki Godoy’s Monkey D. Luffy and his crew as they enter the treacherous Grand Line. Key storylines will span iconic settings such as Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Little Garden, and Drum Island, and will introduce new antagonists including Sir Crocodile and the Baroque Works organization.

The expanded cast features Joe Manganiello, Sophia Anne Caruso, Charithra Chandran, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Katey Sagal, and David Dastmalchian, among others, joining the returning ensemble from the first season.

With production on Season 3 already underway, One Piece: Into the Grand Line is set to further elevate the franchise’s scale and emotional storytelling as Netflix continues to invest in its most ambitious live-action anime adaptation to date.
