Popular American clothing brand Levi’s revealed a Japanese limited-edition version of its iconic denim pants, the 501 jeans.

Celebrating the rare piece from its archive, Levi’s is referencing the 1966 501 jeans, which were released in Japan in the 90s.

The popular clothing item returned as a limited release last year, to celebrate the opening of the new Levi’s store in Harajuku.

The launch also marks the apparel company’s decision to manufacture all 501 shrink-to-fit fabrics in Japan going forward.

The Japanese 501 jeans are available for purchase from April 30.
