Italian fashion house Gucci has crafted a limited edition Japan-exclusive take on its three-window Grip Watch.

Inspired by the world of skateboarding, the unisex Gucci Grip Watch reimagines the way a ‘rider’s sneakers stick to the grip tape on the skateboard.”

The limited-edition take on the watch features a yellow gold obscured square case with “Gucci” written in Katakana, a form of Japanese syllabary in which English and other loan words are conventionally described. The face also includes three precisely cut windows displaying the hour, minute and date, and the design is completed with a matching gold-tone chain-linked bracelet with engraved Interlocking GG monogram.

The Japan-exclusive wrist accessory is priced at ¥253,000 (approximately $2,365 USD), and is currently available on Gucci Japan’s website as well as at domestic locations.
