The premiere was packed with fans who were excited to see the clash of the two most famous giant monsters.

The event also featured a message from the movie’s director, Adam Wingard, in which he shared his passion on working on the movie as a fan of both Godzilla & Kong.

A representative of Comicave said about the premiere of Godzilla vs. Kong: “We are actually excited to participate with Warner Bros. Middle East for the release of ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ as everyone is excited for the clash of these two titans with a tag line (One Will Fall), so everyone is wondering who will win in this epic battle and will happen after that.”

“We are looking forward to this movie and hopefully it will be action packed for everyone to enjoy,” he added.

One of the fans who attended the premiere said: “My expectations for this movie is big as I’m looking forward to see who will be the top of all titans, I’m sure that there are so many surprises for the fans in this movie as it’s one of the most anticipated movies of the year.”

In the occasion of the movie release, Hardee’s Arabia made a special campaign for two special burgers that represents both Godzilla & Kong for a limited time.

Godzilla vs. Kong is a sequel to Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Kong: Skull Island, it is the fourth movie in Legendary Pictures’ MonsterVerse. The movie is also the 36th movie in the Godzilla franchise, the 12th movie in the King Kong franchise, and the fourth Godzilla movie to be completely produced by an American studio.

The project was announced in October 2015 when Legendary announced plans for a shared cinematic universe between Godzilla and King Kong. The film’s writers’ room was assembled in March 2017, and Wingard was announced as the director in May 2017. Principal photography began in November 2018 in Hawaii, Australia and Hong Kong, and wrapped in April 2019.

After being delayed from a November 2020 release date due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Godzilla vs. Kong was theatrically released internationally on March 24, 2021, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on March 31, where it will be released simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max.
