DUBAI: Japanese sportswear brand ASICS announced the launch of its latest tennis footwear, the GEL-RESOLUTION™ X tennis shoe.

In line with the ASICS Design Philosophy which respects the Japanese principle of kaizen, the GEL-RESOLUTION™ X tennis shoe introduces updates to the foam, lateral support and overall fit.

Brazilian Tennis player Beatriz Haddad Maia said: “Working with ASICS on the development of the GEL-RESOLUTION™ X shoe has been an incredible experience. They’ve listened to my feedback on what’s truly needed in a high-performance tennis shoe.”

“The comfort and support in this new model are game-changers—I feel more confident in my movements, and that confidence makes all the difference on the court. In tennis, your feet are everything; they’re your foundation,” she added.

Originally introduced in ASICS Performance Running products, FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO foam has been reengineered for tennis and strategically placed where tennis players need it most, under the heel – offering excellent comfort during the match. This material incorporates approximately 24 percent bio-based content, combining superior cushioning with an eye toward sustainability.

The DYNAWALL™ technology now extends from the outside of the foot to wrap around the heel, providing enhanced lateral stability and support without sacrificing comfort.

The new DYNALACING™ system allows players to find their preferred fit and easily adjust the hold around their foot for more enhanced comfort and flexibility whether they need extra support or some room.

“At ASICS, we embrace the philosophy of Kaizen—continuous improvement—which is at the heart of our design process. Every detail of the GEL-RESOLUTION™ X shoe reflects this commitment to evolve our products for the athletes who rely on them,” said Yuhi Tanigaki, ASICS’ Global Product Manager of tennis footwear.

“We are proud to launch the GEL-RESOLUTION X tennis shoe, the 10th anniversary model of one of our most successful tennis products ever. Through a commitment to comfort and understanding exactly what players need to support their game, we hope more people will step on the court with confidence.”

The new shoe will drop on Jan. 10.
