Pokémon fans can rejoice as a recent partnership with Universal Studios Japan will ensure new activities and guest experiences are introduced, beginning in 2022.
CEOs of both companies applauded the partnership and have asserted that the union will pave way for a range of attractions developed with Universal Studio Japan’s expertise combined with popular Pokémon characters.
The Pokémon Company’s official website shares that “through collaborations with companies that have strengths we don’t have, we can open up all-new possibilities for Pokémon. Today, working with partners expert in their respective fields, we continue to create the Pokémon of tomorrow.”
Universal Studios also promises that each distinct world they offer “holds new and unique adventures at every turn.”
Universal Studios has an impressive portfolio of theme parks based off Hollywood movies, and featuring popular characters including Super Nintendo World, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Minion Park, Jurassic Park, among others.
