DUBAI: Japanese companies started announcing this week their pavilions for the upcoming Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.

Four businesses posted their plans and press releases for their pavilions, including Bandai Namco, Panasonic, Japan Gas Association (JGA) and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT.)

Bandai Namco is working on the tentatively named ‘Gundam Pavilion’ along with the theme ‘Fun for all into the future.’

The Mobile Suit Gundam will be the mascot that will solve problems in the future society, set “another universal century.”

Panasonic’s pavilion will focus on discussing an ideal society where both “things and minds are affluent.” According to the Japanese company, the pavilion will help people feel that they are connected with everything around them, whether it is an animate or inanimate object.

The Japan Gas Association also announced their pavilion, named the ‘Gas Pavilion,’ on May 30. The exhibition will provide an original experience that will be “remembered by visitors, especially children, and will nurture a rich heart,” said JGA’s Chairman Takehiro Honjo.

NTT’s pavilion will provide an experience that transcends barriers of common sense and physical buildings and provides visitors with diverse perspectives and senses. The pavilion will also focus on sustainable development.
