DUBAI:TakaHisa at Banyan Tree Dubai has announced an exclusive three-day culinary collaboration featuring Chef Norihisa Maeda, Executive Chef of the Premium Japanese Section at Galaxy Macau, one of the world’s most prestigious integrated resorts and home to multiple Michelin-starred dining concepts.

The collaboration will take place from Feb. 8-10, at TakaHisa, with a strictly limited three-seat rotation per day at 1:00 PM, 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM, offering guests a rare and immersive gastronomic experience.

Chef Maeda oversees Galaxy Macau’s acclaimed Premium Japanese Section, home to celebrated venues including Shou Teppanyaki and Teppanyaki Shou. Renowned for his uncompromising standards, he curates the finest seasonal ingredients sourced from Japan and around the world, elevating Japanese cuisine beyond dining into a refined artistic expression.

Teppanyaki, in particular, represents the purest embodiment of his philosophy. Precision of movement, mastery of heat, and the interplay of aroma and sound unfold live at the counter, transforming each service into an immersive experience.

Guests are not merely diners, but participants in a carefully orchestrated culinary performance.

This collaboration marks a significant moment for TakaHisa as the brand looks ahead to near-future global expansions. The exchange of vision, technique and craftsmanship between chefs makes the collaboration both symbolically and strategically important.

Chef Maeda shares his vision: “Japanese cuisine should be delicate yet vibrant. Especially at the counter — the best seat in the house — I believe dining should be an immersive experience where the chef and guest connect, creating memories that last long after the final course.”

The collaboration brings together Norihisa Maeda, Takahashi Namekata and Hisao Ueda, three masters whose careers span some of the world’s most respected Japanese kitchens.
