Japan, Libya look to boost relations and high-level exchanges

TOKYO: Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs ONISHI Yohei discussed peacebuilding and human resource development with Libyan Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Ahmed Alnaas on Thursday and said Japan looked forward to high-level visits from Libya, including the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation.

Alnaas was making a courtesy call on the Vice-Minister and he expressed his gratitude for Japan’s assistance. He also stated his desire to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields through an exchange of high-level visits.

Both sides agreed to continue to promote high-level exchanges between the two countries and cooperate towards advancing Japan-Libya relations.
