TAIPEI: Taiwan’s representative to last weekend’s APEC summit said on Monday that it was “very normal” for him to meet with Japanese Prime Minister TAKAICHI Sanae minister while there, rebuffing China’s complaints about the meeting.

China’s foreign ministry said it had lodged “stern representations” with Japan about the meeting on the sidelines of the summit in South Korea.
