Japanese PM receives Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd in Tokyo

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe received Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet, at the Guest Palace in Tokyo, on Monday.

Prince Turki conveyed greetings of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Prime Minister Abe and congratulated him on the inauguration of the Japanese Emperor Naruhito.

During the reception, various aspects related to the friendly relations binding the two countries, were reviewed in addition to issues of common interest, a statement released by the Saudi Press Agency said.

Accompanying delegation to the Prince and the Saudi Ambassador to Japan Naif bin Marzouq Al-Fahadi, attended the reception.

According to SPA, the Prince arrived in Tokyo earlier in the day to take part in the enthronement ceremony of the Japanese Emperor Naruhito.

Prince Turki was received by Assistant to the Japanese Foreign Minister, the Saudi Ambassador and senior staff at the embassy, at Haneda International Airport, in Tokyo.
