LONDON: Saudi Arabia announced 30 more deaths from COVID-19 and 1,019 new cases of the disease on Thursday.

Of the new cases, 96 were recorded in Makkah, 56 in Riyadh, 50 in Madinah, 46 in Jazan and 32 in Jeddah.

The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 286,255 after 1,019 more patients recovered from the virus.

A total of 3,785 people have succumbed to the virus in the Kingdom so far.
