JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received on Tuesday Rustem Umerov, advisor to the President of Ukraine, at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah, Saudi Press Agency reported.
During the meeting, the crown prince affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness and support for a de-escalation of the crisis in Ukraine, and the Kingdom’s support for all international efforts to reach a political resolution to the crisis.
The prince also expressed to Umerov the Kingdom’s continuing efforts to mitigate the humanitarian fallout resulting from the conflict, SPA added.
Umerov conveyed the greetings of the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky to King Salman as well as to the crown prince, and expressed his country’s appreciation for prince’s efforts through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
The meeting was attended by Prince Khalid bin Salman, deputy defense minister and minister of state, cabinet member and national security advisor Musaed bin Muhammad Al-Aiban.
