Lotte, a South Koren company founded in Japan focuses on ice cream processing and confectionary, are well known for their frozen treats. The company has just released their latest mochi ice cream flavour that will undoubtedly appeal to pancake lovers.

The company has combined the taste of ice-cream that taste likes pancakes, with a Canadian maple syrup filling, blanketed by the chewy outer-layer typical of the Japanese sweet, available in Japan’s grocery stores and supermarkets beginning March 2.

This latest treat, referred to as Yukimi Daifuku Mochi Mochi Pancake, is one of Lotte’s many creations, and the company is well known for their vanilla flavoured mochi amongst other products like their chewing gum, chocolate, cookies, and candies.

Lotte was founded in 1948 and is dedicated to their mission of enriching people’s lives “by providing superior products and services that our customers love and trust,” their official website states.

The company stressed the importance of originality and creativity in the company, as well as offering high quality items to their customers whose point of view they value.
