ABU DHABI: Monkey Distribution, Funko’s official franchise operator in the United Arab Emirates, opened its first official store in Abu Dhabi on Dec. 15. 

Established in 2016, Monkey Distribution has rapidly become an active player in the region, specializing in distributing the latest and most sought-after merchandise to retailers.

The new store is located at Reem Mall, and many excited fans visited the store’s opening day to grab the latest Funko Pop releases.

Following the huge success of Monkey Distribution’s first Funko franchise location in Dubai Hills Mall last year and the second location early this month at Dubai Mall, the new store features an extensive product range across Funko’s vast categories. From multiple variations of collectibles to Loungefly fashion accessories, games, toys, and more.

A representative of Monkey Distribution spoke exclusively to Arab News Japan regarding the opening of Abu Dhabi’s branch, saying, “Monkey Distribution is thrilled to announce the opening of our first-ever Funko Store in Abu Dhabi. This milestone is a testament to the endless support of our fans, not just in the country but across the entire region. We are grateful and excited to bring the Funko experience closer to you.”

Reem Mall is Abu Dhabi’s newest signature retail, leisure, dining, and entertainment destination. Home to one of the biggest indoor snow parks in the region.
