TOKYO: Since its opening in early March and with claims of being a world first to offer such an array of interactive experiences, Immersive Fort theme Park in Odaiba has proven to be popular with the public.

Visitors can experience a variety of attractions and reconstructed scenes inspired by famous characters, manga and popular ancient tales.

A fan of mystery can experience a crime scene of the famous Sherlock Holmes and his associate, Detective Watson, guests can don a jacket of a manga character from Tokyo Revengers while enjoying a coffee, or become immersed in the world of Hansel and Gretel.

Another attraction depicts spy action in Tokyo. Visitors can watch a fight between members of Yakuza groups then participate in a supervised brawl if they wish.

Party Festa is another attraction specially created by the Tokyo Immersive Fort organization. Spectators can dance to Edith Piaf songs on a stage that depicts a musical comedy in Paris.

According to Masako ITOKAWA, external relations manager of the company Katana Inc. management for the Immersive Fort theme park, the Tokyo Revengers-themed café is a partnership with the Immersive Tokyo Organization and customers at the café can wear costumes of the main characters.

Venues throughout the park are designed to completely immerse the spectator into the world of role-playing with great care taken that every detail is faithfully reproduced. One example is the Sherlock Holmes attraction where all the characters of Victorian England are represented in a crime scene with thrilling puzzles.

Located in Tokyo on Odaiba Bay near Teleport subway station, the park is open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Three of the 11 attractions require another ticket but for most of the attractions an all day ticket is available. Tickets and reservations for the special venues like Sherlock Holmes are only available online. Entry requires a scan of the QR code. Some attractions do not allow photos or videos
