DUBAI: ‘Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics’ is the collection that fans of fighting games have been waiting for. Finally, after much anticipation, Capcom has released the game collection, which comprises ports of every arcade entry of the crossover fighting games. 

‘X-Men: Children of the Atom’ is the first game of the series that features one-on-one matches with characters from Marvel’s ‘X-Men,’ with each character having its own super powers and special attacks that differ from previous Capcom’s fighting games.

‘Marvel Super Heroes’ follows the same concept as the previous game. It features different characters from Marvel’s universe with the fighting mechanic of using the infinity stones. 

Considered one of the best fighting games of all time for its intense gameplay, ‘Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes’ is the most ambitious game of the collection. It features three-on-three tag team battles and a new character assist system that makes the fights more exciting. 

“We’ve received an extremely positive response from players in the MENA region for Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics,” said Shuhei Matsumoto, the game’s producer. “MENA players have been highly engaged and nostalgic, and they have given us invaluable feedback across forums and social media. The region’s broader gaming community is rapidly increasing and we’re aware of the growing appetite in MENA for more localized content, including language support, which is why we’ve integrated Arabic language support in the game and included dedicated MENA servers.”

“We would like the players to enjoy the various enhancements and upgrades, including Rollback Netcode for online matches and One-Button Specials to make the games in this collection more accessible. This is a seven-in-one collection with innumerable characters and super heroes to play with, and we hope players can relive the nostalgia they offer on modern platforms or uncover these classics for the first time,” Matsumoto added.

The games can be played online and feature an advanced online lobby system and detailed training modes. It is considered a fantastic collection for beginner and advanced gamers as it serves as a compilation of various iconic games.
