DUBAI: Red Dunes Games has announced its first publishing agreement in Thailand. In collaboration with FairPlay Studios, the teams are bringing an innovative action-adventure game titled ‘Nightmare Circus’ to the global stage. This partnership highlights Red Dunes’ commitment to championing creative indie studios and delivering standout gaming experiences.
Set in the eerie yet enchanting setting, ‘Nightmare Circus’ invites players to take on the role of a daring puppeteer navigating surreal landscapes. Utilizing its unique ‘puppet string’ mechanics, the game offers players a fresh take on action-adventure gameplay, combining strategic movement with immersive combat.
FairPlay Studios, known for past hits like ‘Fallen Knight’ and ‘The Land Beneath Us’, brings its reputation for innovative and engaging titles to this partnership. Their passion for creating games that resonate with both casual and hardcore gamers aligns perfectly with Red Dunes’ mission to foster indie gaming excellence.
“We’re excited to join forces with FairPlay Studios to publish the game,’” said Sultan Al Darmaki, Chief Kaiju Officer at Red Dunes Games. “FairPlay’s creativity and dedication to immersive gameplay perfectly complement our vision of delivering unforgettable gaming experiences to a global audience.”
“At Red Dunes Games, we believe in the universal language of gaming. Our mission is to create fun, engaging, and memorable games that resonate with players everywhere. As passionate gamers ourselves, we’re committed to crafting innovative games that capture the magic of old-school adventures while embracing modern gameplay,” he added.
FairPlay Studios CEO Kachain Puttiwarawut added, “Partnering with Red Dunes allows us to elevate ‘Nightmare Circus’ to new heights. Their support and expertise empower us to realize our vision and share this one-of-a-kind experience with players worldwide.”
‘Nightmare Circus’ has already captured attention in the industry, earning recognition as a finalist in the GTR x Gamescom Asia Pitch Competition for Best Game Design. The game is slated for release on PC and consoles, with more details to come soon. The game is available to wishlist on Steam now.
Red Dunes Games made its first successful debut at Tokyo Game Show 2024 last September, where they featured some of its original titles to the visitors of the event.
