A new 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo Official Store is scheduled to open near the Central Exit of JR Osaka Station from April 13.
The store was originally an Ekimaru a la Mode store, but it is now revamped with new merchandise that is fully Myaku-Myaku themed.
Myaku-Myaku, Expo’s official mascot, is featured on all the products that are an ode to Osaka and the upcoming exposition.
Here are some of the products visitors can stock up on throughout the duration of the event:
Pine Ame (Pineapple Candy)
A popular brand of hard candy, which originated in Osaka, is now in a tin in the form of Myaku-Myaku Ame with the mascot glittered all over posing in different ways.
Mitsubishi Uni-ball pens
The uni-ball pens come in colors such as Yogurt, Banana and Grape. They, of course, have drawings of Myaku-Myaku on the writing instruments and smell just like their colors.
Myaku-Myaku plush toy
It wouldn’t be a Japanese Expo without featuring at least one plush toy. The Myaku-Myaku shaped one is a beanbag-style stuffed doll, with a softer version of the toy also available at the store.
Myaku-Myaku Coupy Pencils
Coupy Pencils are plastic crayons partly created by Osaka-based company Sakura Color Products and are designed in way to keep hands cleaner than regular crayons.
The Myaku-Myaku Expo 2025 Coupy Pencils is also available at the store for those interested in coloring.
More products are sure to be released throughout the six months in which Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai is running.
