The COVID-19 pandemic has moved many of daily activities to online platforms, including art exhibitions.

However, one New York-based artist did not take to Zoom or other popular platforms to exhibit her art, Nicole Shinn decided to show off her work in a group exhibition on the increasingly popular Nintendo game, Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The event will feature original works from over 20 contributing artists at the “Lothlorien Galley,” which is named after the island where it is located.

Some of the artists participating include Erik Carter, Cortney Cassidy, Gregory Nachmanovitch, Diane Zhou, Rose Wong and others.

The art gallery will launch May 2 at 3PM ET. Animal Crossing players can check out the exhibition by keeping a look out for special Dodo codes, which will be posted on the Instagram pages: @spacelionz and @txtbooks.

Some of the artworks will also be selected to be published in the Brooklyn-based TXTbooks this summer.
