Creators of the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild video game are planning to release a prequel: Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity on November 20.

Nintendo and Koei Tecmo, a Japanese video game company, worked together to design a world where gamers can explore the Kingdom of Hyrule 100 years before the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The producer of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, reiterated how a sequel is in the works but until then, gamers can enjoy Hyrule during a different time.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will unfold the events of the past when the Kingdom of Hyrule and Calamity Ganon were at war.

In this world, gamers will come across familiar characters like the four Champions, Link, Zelda, as well as Lynels (a centaur-like creature), and Bokoblins.

Gamers will also be able to engage in hack-and-slash combat, solve puzzles, unlock weapons and skills as well as craft materials, Nintendo stated.

The game also allows two players to team up and work together.

As of now, the game can be pre-ordered on the Nintendo website and is priced at $59.99 (6,368.24 yen)

Another update is scheduled for September 26.
