Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara has teamed up with Pokémon, earning himself and his brand, fragment, a place in the latest Pokémon anime film.
The lightning bolt logo, emblematic of fragment and Fujiwara can be spotted at various points in the film, most notably on Dr. Zedd and Karen’s Biotope Company logo.
Fragment’s participation in Pokémon’s latest film makes sense considering the overlap in Pokémon’s symbolic lightning bolt and that of fragment– fragment design employs a similar lightning bolt on products.
Hiroshi Fujiwara is the founder of fragment design, a brand that collaborates with other labels to bring together streetwear and high-fashion, including Louis Vuitton, Levi’s, Converse, Supreme, Mocler, and BVLGARI.
