Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama to showcase ‘infinity’ at Tantora Festival

Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama is set to showcase what “infinity” looks like during this year’s Winter at Tantora festival, it has been revealed.

According to the al-Ula organizers, visitors will be able to step into the world-famous art installation Infinity Room “Brilliance of the Souls” by Kusama.

During a series of weekend events held from 19 December till 7 March 2020, visitors will have the chance to experience the wide range of diverse cultural events and activities available in AlUla during the Tantora Festival.

Born in Nagano Prefecture, avant-garde sculptor, painter and novelist, Kusama started to paint using polka dots and nets as motifs at around age ten, and created fantastic paintings in watercolors, pastels and oils.
