RIYADH: American DJ Mako and electronic music act the Crystal Method headlined a concert on day two of Riot Games’ Nexus festival in Riyadh.

Taking to the stage at Riyadh Boulevard, the performers delivered a one-hour concert that thrilled festivalgoers.

As well as the concert, people saw closely fought matches as the region’s eight best sides competed in the playoff stages of the League of Legends’ 5v5 Summoners Rift competition.

The festival ended on Saturday with winners of the six competitions, including cosplay, sharing a $2 million prize fund.

International music artist Jason Derulo also took to the stage for a special concert to mark the end of the inaugural Nexus Festival.

Riot Games was founded in 2006 to develop player-focused games. In 2009, it released its debut title, League of Legends, which went on to become the most-played PC game in the worlds.
