RIYADH: The largest masquerade party in the kingdom was held on the March 17 and 18at the the Boulevard Riyadh City and Winter Land Area, the foremost tourist spot in Riyadh.

The masquerade party at the Boulevard Riyadh City was attended by a large number of people wearing costumes of various designs inspired by popular sci-fi, movies, fantasy, and fictional characters.

The participants of the masquerade party competed to see whose costume made the biggest impression, which succeeded in attracting large crowds. The largest event of its kind ever held in the kingdom, it was truly memorable in a thousand ways.

The event started Thursday and ended Friday. During the competition, 2 cars and 40 Playstation consoles were awarded to those who received the most votes for their costumes from the audience.

Notably, many of the masquerade participants were wearing Japanese pop culture-inspired costumes, which they bought from the restaurant “AKIBADORI” and shops that sell anime merchandise such as “Nihon Saiko.”
