
TOKYO: Japan’s Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry SAITO Ken received a courtesy call from Moroccan Ambassador Rachad Bouhlal to exchange opinions on bilateral economic cooperation.
The two officials discussed deepening bilateral economic relations in view of the fact that many Japanese companies have been operating in Morocco to capitalize on the country’s proximity to Europe and the European Union.
Morocco acts as a hub for Japanese companies aiming to enter European markets.
Saito and Bouhlal also discussed cooperation in a wide range of fields such as infrastructure, energy, water, and healthcare.
