Nippon Express Holdings announced on Thursday that it had acquired a 20% shareholding in Cold Chain Bangladesh Limited.

Nippon Express entered the Bangladesh market in 2012, meeting the growing demand for logistics services there.

“Our strategy is to strengthen the Nippon Express domestic Bangladesh logistics business by leveraging Cold Chain Bangladesh Limited’s domestic logistics network and assets, thereby capturing logistics opportunities arising from growing domestic demand,” Nippon Express said in a statement. 

The agreement reflects the Japanese company’s commitment to growing in various markets and valuing its customers and stakeholders.
