ABU DHABI: Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi is holding a Japanese kimono exhibition until Feb. 17. 

Established in 2006, Sorbonne University is a French and English-speaking university that offers undergrad and postgrad programs.

In partnership with the French fashion institute ESMOD Dubai and Asian textile expert Corentin de Sade, the Japanese exhibition is offering various types of kimonos, such as uchikake and homongi. 

The exhibition is demonstrating 41 unique and colorful kimonos at the university’s atrium.
