Arrival in paradise

From the moment we arrived as a family—my spouse and our two young children, aged 2 and 4, it was clear that Constance Ephelia was more than just a resort; it was a slice of paradise. The Seychelles, renowned for its year-round beauty, particularly shines in the spring and fall. However, our visit in July revealed perfect weather, making it an ideal destination even in the heart of summer. Interestingly, most nationalities don’t require a visa to visit the Seychelles, and the island’s colonial past ensures that both French and English are widely spoken, facilitating easy communication.

Warm welcomes and natural splendor

The Seychellois people, raised amidst such beauty, exude a friendliness that is immediately noticeable. The resort itself is nestled between two stunning white-sand beaches, doubling as a natural reserve. This pristine setting provided an awe-inspiring backdrop for our family, who chose this location to introduce our children to the place where we were married.

Endless activities for kids

Children are often the most discerning critics, and our young ones were enchanted. Their days were brimming with excitement, thanks to the myriad of activities tailored for young adventurers. The kids’ club was a particular hit, offering entertainment that allowed my spouse and me some much-needed relaxation time.

Daily feeding sessions with the resort’s giant tortoises became a cherished routine, creating unforgettable memories without ever leaving the resort’s grounds. The resort’s spaciousness and variety of pools and beaches ensured that despite high occupancy, privacy was never compromised.

Adventures and relaxation for adults

For us parents, the eight-way zip line, soaring above the sea and lush greenery, provided a thrilling experience, although the children were too young to join in this time. We look forward to sharing this adventure with them in the future.

Exploring the resort by bike was another highlight. The availability of bikes equipped with child seats made it a fun and convenient way to discover the expansive landscape. Culinary delights were abundant, with the resort’s offerings ranging from Creole flavors at the buffet restaurant to exquisite seafood at Cyan, the fine dining establishment.

The spa, situated amidst verdant greenery, became a sanctuary for us. With facilities like a dry heat sauna, steam room, thermal pool, jacuzzi, and yoga pavilion, it offered the perfect retreat after dropping the children off at the kids’ center.

Impeccable accommodations and thoughtful service

Our accommodation, a Beach Villa, was spacious with an impressive bathroom layout and design. Despite the resort being the largest in the Indian Ocean, there was no compromise on quality. Privacy and tranquility were maintained throughout our stay, even though the resort was nearly fully occupied.

A potential safety concern arose with our pool villa, which initially lacked a fence. However, the staff promptly addressed this by installing a fence, ensuring the toddlers’ safety—a testament to the resort’s attentive service.
