Every host city for the FIFA World Cup 2034 will have specially designed fan zones offering digital and physical entertainment options, and allowing both residents and tourists to dive into the rich cultural tapestry and warm hospitality of the host country.

Fan zones will feature livestreams of matches, musical performances, cultural displays, esports tournaments, and dedicated spaces for families and children.

The FIFA Fan Festival is set to highlight Saudi Arabia as a premier destination for sports and entertainment, aiming to use the World Cup as a platform to build international friendships and connections.

Two primary fan zone locations have been suggested In each of the five host cities, with the potential for more if needed. The sites will be centrally located or in well-known settings, ensuring easy access from nearby hotels and fan accommodation, or via public transport.

Collaborative efforts with FIFA will seek to establish additional dynamic fan zones across the Kingdom, ensuring that even fans in non-host cities can enjoy the World Cup atmosphere.

Another notable location in Riyadh, King Salman Park, will be the world’s largest urban park, complete with expansive greenery, as well as amenities for sports and wellness, and various entertainment options.

In Jeddah, fan zones such as Khuzam Park will blend modern facilities with the historic ambience of the Al-Balad district. Additionally, Jeddah Waterfront, a renowned linear park, will offer beaches, green spaces, top-notch accommodation, and a rich cultural and historical environment.

Alkhobar will host King Abdullah Park, a picturesque coastal area offering ocean views and proximity to many hotels, alongside the Dammam Heritage Village and vistas of Al-Marjan Island. King Fahad Park, one of the largest parks in the nation, will feature lakes, lagoons, and extensive green spaces ideal for fans to celebrate the event.

In Abha, Al-Bihar Square, a site with a history of hosting major events, will combine traditional Arabian architecture with contemporary design, featuring spacious green areas and excellent transport connections. Al-Dhabab Park, with its panoramic views of the Asir mountains, will also offer ample space and strong transport links, continuing its tradition of hosting fan events.
