
DUBAI: IchiRyu Ramen House was awarded the Best Ramen Restaurant in the Arabian Best of the Best Awards 2024 that was held on Dec. 13.
Arabian Best of the Best Awards, organized by The Golden Tree Awards, aims to recognize and reward the best performers in the Arabian region such as the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait for more than 20+ industries such as technology, real estate, travel & tourism, beauty and so on.
This year, there were a total of 1,200 nominations, 300 finalists and 120 winners.
IchiRyu’s Executive Chef Touru De Guzman, Karl De Guzman, Nicolai De Guzman, Mary Rose Marcellano, Allan Jay Marcellano, Marby De Guzman and Beth Climaco- De Guzman accepted the award.
Chef De Guzman told Arab News Japan that after a year and a half of launching the restaurant, it was an honor to have been awarded.
“The overwhelming joy and love from the support we’ve encountered is truly heartwarming. The UAE is indeed a land of limitless opportunities for dedicated and sincere entrepreneurs,” he said. “IchiRyu continues to stay committed to its mission of delivering authentic Japanese cuisine and exceptional restaurant service to the UAE.”
“We are incredibly excited to share the news of our highly anticipated second restaurant opening,” IchiRyu’s COO Karl De Guzman told Arab News Japan.
He explained that the restaurant will be launching another branch in 2025.
Located in Dubai, Ichiryu Ramen House is a ramen restaurant that was founded by three Filipino brothers to share their profound love for Japanese cuisine and culture. The restaurant doesn’t only offer authentic Japanese ramen but also authentic drinks and side dishes.
