DUBAI: Dubai’s renowned restaurant TakaHisa continues to elevate the Japanese culinary scene in the UAE as it introduced three of Japan’s most exclusive Wagyu beef varieties, including the 2024 Kobe Beef Carcass Competition champion, which broke records with a market price of AED 1 million (42 million yen).
Only one cow is crowned champion in the 2024 Kobe Beef Carcass Competition each year, and TakaHisa has secured this exceptional Wagyu for its guests.
To showcase the extraordinary quality of this beef, TakaHisa has introduced an exclusive Champion Beef Omakase menu, priced at AED 3,000 (128,583 yen) per person. The menu is dedicated entirely to this Wagyu type, highlighting its exquisite flavor and texture through dishes crafted to perfection.
TakaHisa is also introducing the Matsuzaka Beef to its Wagyu varieties, making it the only restaurant in the world to acquire the first and second place winners from the 2024 Matsuzaka Champion Competition, further showcasing its reputation for excellence.
Additionally, the Japanese restaurant is also bringing the Ozaki Beef, produced by Muneharu Ozaki on his Miyazaki farm. The name refers to the scarcity of this exclusive product, as Ozaki only produces 30 cattle a month, which is very compared to the average Japanese Wagyu farm.
These Wagyu varieties highlight TakaHisa’s dedication and innovation, offering culinary masterpieces under the expert guidance of Chef Taka and Chef Hisa, whose precision and artistry honor the essence of each cut.
