DUBAI: Dubai’s Japanese restaurant, Itadaku, has recently celebrated its second anniversary since its launch in 2023. Itadaku is an ingredient-driven, family-run Japanese restaurant in Dubai that presents a whole new world of authentic Japanese cuisine experience.

The name of the restaurant is short for the word ‘itadakimasu,’ which means gratitude for receiving.

“We are truly grateful to our many valued guests and returning guests, as well as to the new guests who have discovered us and visited our restaurant, for allowing us to celebrate our second anniversary,” a representative of Itadaku told Arab News Japan. “We also deeply appreciate our staff and families who support itadaku every day.”

“Since the very beginning, we have valued serving traditional Japanese cuisine without twists or fusion. We remain committed to preserving this philosophy. The fact that so many customers resonate with this approach and visit us with interest, and that we have received recognition through awards, has been a significant milestone for us.” 

“While we continue to uphold our core values, we also aspire to become a hub where people can find and feel more about Japanese cuisine and its exceptional ingredients. Furthermore, we hope to one day create a space where guests can enjoy Japanese sake alongside our dishes,” she added.

Itadaku is located at Wasl Vita Mall and opens daily (except Monday) from 12–3 PM and from 6–10 PM.
