The rating is a standardized and independent accreditation system that is used to globally recognize hotels for meeting Halal or Muslim-friendly standards. The hotels receive the “CrescentRating” of 5, which signifies a certified standard level of Muslim-friendly hospitality.
Island Shangri-La offers a variety of halal-friendly experiences, such as Qibla directional signs, the Quran, and prayer mats to cater to religious practices. The hotel is located 10 minutes away from the Jamia Masjid, ensuring guests have easy access to mosques.
The hotel also offers different halal foods at its different venues as well as tailored halal menus for events, highlighting its dedication to fostering a Muslim-friendly environment.
