Japanese company, Spec-Computer, specializes in the manufacturing and sale of digital products, and will launch its illumi-ON “mouth cover”– an LED mask–on August 21.
The product includes a PM 2.5 filter but is not protective and should be worn with an additional layer for optimal safety, which is why it is branded a mouth cover.
The masks are sold in black and white but the settings can be changed to project lighting patterns or your standard colours like blue, red, yellow, purple, green.
The built in LED lights give the mask a twinkly effect and can be managed using a button.
Additional features include a charging port.
The product can be purchased on the company’s website, Yahoo Shopping and Amazon Japan for approximately $29 USD.
