Starbucks Japan is celebrating love with their two new, exclusive Valentine’s Day drinks available from Jan 20 to Feb 14.
Their Melty Chocolate Ganache Frappuccino, and Chocolate on the Chocolate Frappucino both heavily depend on rich flavours.
The Melty Chocolate Frappuccino is a blend of chocolate sauce, whipped cream, chocolate cubes and sprinkled with edible red hearts, sold for ¥ 590
This Valentine’s Day drink also comes in a hot variation, offering more options for Starbucks goers.
The Melty Chocolate Mocha is a blend of espresso, chocolate syrup, milk and chocolate sauce, finished off with a cream topping, and chocolate cubes sold in four of Starbucks’ standard sizes.
Starbucks’ second Valentine’s Day treat is a Frappucino with a chocolate base, and includes cocoa biscuits and chocolate cubes as toppings.
Customers can also choose from a selection of two new Valentine’s Day cakes, both furthering the chocolate craze that accompanies the Valentine’s Day holiday.
The first, is a classic chocolate cake for ¥ 440, made from sponge cake and layered with white cream and chocolate mousse.
Starbucks’ second chocolate cake is made using ruby cacao beans giving the dessert a pink appearance, the texture of the cake is soft given that it is a mix of both ganash and mousse priced at ¥ 540.
