McDonald’s Japan is pushing the boundaries once more by reintroducing a newer version of their bun-less burgers.

Much like its predecessor, the Rice Chicken Tatsuta Setouchi Lemon Tartar is made with seasoned rice buns in replacement of the standard buns typical of the chain’s burgers.

This new addition will be priced at 470 yen ($4.53) and will be placed on the “Your Mac,” a dinner menu, alongside last year’s Rice Chicken Tatsuta.

The Rice Chicken Tatsuta Setouchi Lemon Tartar is made using soy sauce, lemon, ginger and flavoured fried chicken.

The patty is then sandwiched between domestic rice compressed to form the soy sauce flavoured bun.

This menu option is complemented by spicy sauce, tartar sauce, and cabbage available from the Jan 27 for a limited time.
