The chain has redefined the classic tiramisu cake by creating an Avocado Tiramisu variation—a blend of avocado, cream, mango and banana. The sweet flavours were balanced out by the bitterness of the espresso typical of classic tiramisu.
Customers eager to have a taste of this tiramisu variation should expect to pay around 950 yen ($8.72) per slice.
Aside from the taste, this creation resembles many of Café comme ça’s cakes, adorned with pieces of fruit that are cut and positioned strategically to give it an artistic and floral feel.
The dessert chain is also popular for their shortcakes, released on the 22nd of every month.
Café comme ça’s official website asserts that the pastry chef visits the farms where ingredients are sourced to get well acquainted with the farmer’s story to better understand the history of the area, this is then reflected in the quality of their cakes.
