Japan’s scare squad offers home delivery haunted house ambulance

Japanese scare squad, Kowagarasetai is back again with another thrilling experience. The haunted house ambulance, brought right to your door, can be ordered online, and will cost approximately 9,000 yen ($82.60) beginning July 1.

The ambulance appears gruesome and eerie, designed to look worn out with rusty metal and stained windows—there are also bloody handprints scattered around for added effect.

Characters dressed in bloody hospital gowns, gloves and a mask invite you to step inside the ambulance decorated with medical equipment and lots of blood, intensified further by the vivid audio system.

Six people can take part during the 15-minute slot and can easily locate the ambulance outside the agreed location.

Kowagarasetai is taking the necessary precautions to ensure the experience abides by coronavirus restrictions through frequent sanitization and social distancing.

This is not Kowagarasetai’s first haunted house, the company also organized a drive-in horror show last year after COVID-19 preventative measures were implemented. They then went on to organize another experience whereby customers could sit inside a coffin.
