Japan’s sushi chain Kappa Sushi are redefining the sushi takeout experience by offering a set that includes a conveyor belt to complement a sushi platter priced at ¥3,300 ($29.97).
Available at select outlets including Minamitsumori in Osaka, Itabashi, Ikuno, Kakomachi in Nagoya and Yaga in Hiroshima, among other locations, customers can rent the 9kg conveyor belt that fits approximately 15 plates.
Customers should also keep in mind that they need to return the conveyor belt to the restaurant to obtain their ¥2,000 deposit fee.
Kappa Sushi has an extensive menu offering, serving a multitude of rolls including their tuna avocado roll, crab avocado roll, various types of nigiri, ramen, salad, deep-fried chicken, miso soup, and a range of desserts.
