Customers can expect to try McDonald’s Tsukimi Muffin, or burger, complemented by Yuzu Shichimi Mayo Fries, along with a range of sweet treats. KFC will also be serving the Torori Tsukimi Wafu Chicken Filet Sandwich and Torori Tsukimi Chicken Filet Sando on the special menu.
The tsukimi festival involves Autumn moon viewing and is also accompanied by many Japanese customs including placing certain foods on display like rice dumplings, as well as produce like chestnuts, pumpkins, and edamame soybeans.
