TOKYO: Japan and Bahrain are to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations and both countries will conduct a variety of collaborative events as part of the celebrations. Japan’s Foreign Ministry is inviting the general public to submit designs for a 50th anniversary logo to be used to promote the events.

Anyone, anywhere and of any age, domicile, religion, etc., can submit a design. The deadline for submissions is October 29.

The Governments of Japan and Bahrain will evaluate the designs received and select the best one to be used as the logo for the 50th anniversary celebration events. Results will be announced on various websites and social media, including those of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Japan in Bahrain, and the Government of Bahrain.

Logo designs should be submitted by e-mail to Second Middle Eastern Division, Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs ([email protected]). The subject of the e-mails should be “50th Anniversary Logo Campaign.”
