DUBAI: Tokyo’s latest cafe to try is inspired by beloved Disney character, Winnie the Pooh, specifically the animated film ‘Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day.’
Available starting April 20, this café features an extensive range of food and beverages inspired by various scenes from the movie featuring characters like Piglet, Owl, Tigger and more.
Customers can start with a consommé topped with vegetables and a cut out of an umbrella boat to depict the scene of the characters floating to safety in the film.
Winnie the Pooh and the honey pots make an appearance in the deli-style-plate as a cut out of him is placed on a piece of bread amidst small pots filled with appetizers.
When ordering the blue bagel expect to find piglet perched on top of it to depict the scene of the flood from the animation.
For a sweet end, customers are encouraged to try the cocoa flavoured fruit yogurt featuring Gopher.
The range of beverages utilize various flavours that capture the warm, and comforting essence of the film like the honey latte, mango yoghurt smoothie, berry soda and more.
The café is open until June 19 at Shinjuku’s Odakyu department store.
