TOKYO: The Olympic Hockey Stadium in Tokyo reopened its doors to the public on Saturday with an opening ceremony and matches with national hockey and lacrosse teams.

A team member from the Olympics stated that despite the COVID situation during the Olympic Games, he managed to enjoy the competition.

A member of the women’s national rugby team welcomed the participation of children and their mothers in workshops to raise awareness of rugby and contact sports.

The women’s national lacrosse team was preparing for the Women’s World Games to be held in July at Birmingham in the United States.

The Japanese women’s team will face the USA team on July 14 in a qualifying match.
