Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) videos are recently gaining popularity on multiple social media platforms.
Well-known for their calming effects for some, ASMR videos are meant to trigger some form of paresthesia, which is the sensation of tingling that begins from the scalp down to the spine.
ASMR videos come in different styles, including food-related or whispering content. Most recently, the Pokémon Company has joined the online trend and released two ASMR videos.
The first video is named Chespin’s Happy Snack Time, which features the grass-type character enjoying a tray of desserts.

The second ASMR content released includes the iconic Pokémon, Charmander, taking a nap by a crackling fire.
