Popular actor Jason Momoa is now Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island Chief Island Officer. On Tuesday, a video of him was posted on social media, where he showed off his Arabic linguistic skills.

In the video, Momoa is also tasting and learning about Middle Eastern dishes, as he pronounces the names of each food.

Previously, American comedian Kevin Hart held the title of Yas Island Chief Island Officer. However, after being the first to hold the title, he stepped down earlier this year.

Momoa was announced as the newest ambassador of the Abu Dhabi island on April 25.

A teaser video showed the Aquaman star stand-up paddle boarding towards Yas Island. He is also shown enjoying some of its main attractions such as Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World and Yas Marina Circuit.
