
DUBAI: Japan’s Foreign Minister KAMIKAWA Yoko announced plans to visit Jordan and Israel on Nov. 2-5, amid the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.
Kamikawa will also hold a bilateral meeting with her Palestinian counterpart.
Japan has reiterated that improving the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip will be a priority.
On Tuesday, Japan also imposed fresh sanctions on Hamas militants which consisted of freezing the assets of various individuals and a company that have helped fund Hamas.
The sanctions are in line with new sanctions announced by the United States government earlier this month.
