TOKYO: Thousands of Tokyo residents — foreigners and Japanese, took to the streets in central Tokyo protesting the “genocide of Palestinian children and people in Gaza by Israel.”
Long lines of people marched for kilometres on Sunday November 5, shouting “No genocide” “Free Gaza”, “Free Palestine”, “Stop killing Gaza children”.
They also protested “the apartheid policy and occupation of Palestine by Israel.”
Banners demanding that the international community force Israel from “committing more war crimes”, were held aloft.
Several demonstrations are being held daily all over Japan denouncing Israel and more protests are expected in the upcoming days as support for Palestinians is spreading in the country.
