TOKYO: Japan’s Foreign Ministry said Tuesday it will provide emergency grant aid worth 10 million dollars to support flood-hit Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya.

The money will be used to provide humanitarian aid to the three African countries severely affected by last year’s flooding through organizations including the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.

The assistance will provide temporary shelters to the three countries and help them solve water and sanitary problems.
