Tokyo: Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa said Friday that she is planning to attend a meeting of foreign ministers from the Group of 20 major economies set to start in Rio de Janeiro on Feb. 21.

The G-20 ministers will discuss topics including support for Ukraine as well as the Middle East, Kamikawa told a press conference.

Kamikawa said that at the meeting, she hopes to stress the importance of Women, Peace and Security, a concept of preventing conflicts and building peace from the perspective of female empowerment and gender equality.
